What will my first voice lesson be like?
We start each lesson with breathing, then we move into vocal warmups, and finish with materials brought to class which can be songs, monologues, or scenes.
What are the costs of lessons?
A 30-minute lesson is $50, a 45-minute lesson is $75, a one-hour lesson is $100, and college coaching is $200 for non-studio students and $150 for students currently taking lessons.
What if I’m nervous or shy about Performing?
We work with you to build your confidence. The goal of the studio is to help you feel comfortable, and we meet you where you are at. Together, we will improve your technique so that singing in front of others becomes fun instead of a nerve-wracking experience!
What ages do you teach?
We welcome students of all ages and experience levels, from children to adults. Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals.
How long are lessons?
Most lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on age, experience, and goals.
How often should I take lessons?
Weekly lessons are most common to ensure steady progress, though some students take lessons twice a week or on a flexible schedule.
What styles of music/acting do you teach?
We teach a wide range of vocal styles, including classical, musical theatre, pop, and jazz. Acting lessons cover stage, audition prep, monologues, script work, Meisner, Uta Hagen, and Stella Adler.
Do you offer lessons online?
Yes! We offer both in-person and virtual lessons for convenience and accessibility.
What do I need to bring to lessons?
A notebook and a pencil

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
How do I prepare for my first lesson?
As a prerequisite for attending class, I would like you to prepare a song, monologue, or personal story. If singing, you can use music, karaoke, or sing a cappella.
How much practice is expected outside of lessons?
Consistent practice makes the biggest difference. We recommend allocating at least 15 minutes to an hour a day, depending on the age and level of the individual.
Do you offer performance opportunities?
Yes! Students often have chances to perform in recitals as well as up-to-date information on current auditions.
